UCLA climate study predicts dramatic loss in local snowfall
June 14, 2013By mid-century, snowfall on Los Angeles-area mountains will be 30 to 40 percent less than it was at the end of the 20th century, according to a UCLA study led by UCLA climate expert Alex Hall (department of Atmospheric and Oceanic Sciences).
