Voters help Grand Challenge project win $100,000
September 30, 2014The UCLA Grand Challenge project to make Los Angeles completely self-sufficient and sustainable in energy and water by 2050 has been awarded $100,000 after winning the popular vote in a competition sponsored by the Goldhirsh Foundation through its LA2050 Grants Challenge.
